Spartan News May 22
Jog-a-Thon 2015 is coming up Tuesday May 26. We still need volunteers for this event. A sign up is posted on the SPC board. If you are short on volunteer hours for the year this event is for you! Please come to lend a helping hand!
Don’t forget to get bring in your sponsor sheet…make money per lap or donate a lump sum. Students who bring in $40 worth of sponsorship will get free dress plus a Spartan T Shirt that you can wear at PE this year and next.
The grand prize for the student with the most money raised is a 2 day pass to Knotts Berry Soak City. The class with the most money raised will get a pizza party. Any class that has 100% participation will get extra recess time. The PK through 5 student who runs the most laps will get a soccer ball, and the middle schooler who runs the most laps will get a volleyball. It will be the most productive calories you ever lose.
This weekend Mr. Suk and a team of volunteers will be working on moving the classrooms around as we create a new Saint Sebastian School. One of the Dual Language Immersion Classrooms will be moved to room 4 (currently Mandarin). Mandarin will be moving to room 7. Our new "Center for Arts and Music” will be relocated to the “Red Barn”
On June 12th we will have an award ceremony for the elementary school. Grades 1 through 7 will stay after mass to recognize student acheivement. All are welcome to attend.
