Dear St. Sebastian Families,
Our 8th grade has graduated and we are very proud of them. All applied to Catholic High Schools, so all had a choice to attend. Go class of 2016! This past week was a very busy week. Our “Language Celebration” ceremony with TK and Kindergarten was very sweet, they have all grown so much. Preschool had their promotion ceremony, it was a Dr. Seuss theme and of course VERY cute- as only they know how to be. Thank you to all the parents that helped out with these two celebrations. On the final day of school all students were acknowledged in class, students were then celebrated in the church at our awards ceremony. This year’s pancake breakfast was widely attended by parent volunteers. Thank you to all who were able to help make our last day so much fun! On a personal note, I want to thank our St. Sebastian family for all their kind words and thoughtful gifts. For every thank you I could only think of our teachers, staff and volunteers. It was with their open minds, giving hearts and love of the school that we have grown. It has truly been such an honor to be with you and your children these past two years. I am forever grateful to have been a part of the St. Sebastian Church and school community and feel especially grateful that Mrs. Harty was sent to us. Just as God brought me to do my part, I believe that He has sent Mrs. Harty. Thank you Father German for all that you do for the school, for all that you do for our community. You have helped to strengthen my faith, and helped bring me closer to God. There are so many things that I will take with me. The generous spirit of this community and the trust that you put in my care for the past two years has brought a light to my life that was missing. You will always be in my prayers. God bless, Ms. McDugald
