Dear St. Sebastian Families,
Today’s big news is that our academic decathlon team knocked it out of the ballpark. I am sending the E-letter today, so that I can share how they did. This was my first experience with the academic decathlon. I was so proud of our students and families and thankful to Mrs. Sabol for all that she has given to our students and to our school. The following are placement results based on 105 schools that participated: SSS placed 6 in Super Quiz, SSS placed 6th in Social Studies--Joseph Placed 10th in English--Brianna Placed 8th placed in Religion--Victoria Placed 8th in Literature--Sydney For those families that are new to the academic decathlon, this kind of presence speaks volume. Congratulations to our students, their families and Mrs. Sabol and her team of helpers for all their time and commitment this year. A special thank you to Ms. Zuniga and Mr. Lopez for staying late many nights, so that students could study together. Notes from the Admissions Office: Re-enrollment is currently underway. Registration and Technology fees for next year are due by April 8. If you have not yet completed your FACTS application please make arrangements with the front office. Tuition agreements will be processed by the end of next week. If you have a young sibling that may be entering Saint Sebastian School, please let Mr. Higdon know. We would like to reserve space for our current families. If you know a family that is interested in Saint Sebastian School, please refer them to the admissions office. If they enroll, you will receive half off your registration fee. World’s Finest Chocolate Fundraiser Update: We finally did it, all of our chocolate is gone, with the exception of what Ms. Zuniga has! Thank you to all the families that sold pounds of chocolate! Thank you Ms. Zuniga for your many reminders and help with this fundraiser! Thank you for your continued support, without your help, this school fundraisers would not be a success.
