First I want to congratulate our 8th grade students. They all have officially graduated. The ceremony was perfect as it truly reflected our 8th graders. This is not good bye, “But See You Again.” Thank you 8th graders for being a part of our St. Sebastian Family, you will be missed.
Many new families are visiting the school and registering. If you have not yet completed and turned in your 2015 school agreement, please hand them in or contact the school by Monday, June 8th. If you are aware of anyone who might be interested in attending Saint Sebastian next year, next week is the last time for them to see the school in action. School visit an may be arranged with Mr. Higdon. Penny Thompson and Derron Te had lunch this week with Ms. McDugald at Café 50’s (a prize at our silent auction). As a part of that winning bid, Penny was able to make a school rule: Monday will be Pajama day for K through Seventh grade. An added recess has also been added to the end of the day. We are happy to announce our Jog-A-Thon winners! Jerahmy ran the most laps for elementary and Diego ran the most laps for middle school. Ivan raised the most money while Kindergarten/Grade 1 made the most money combined. Together everyone raised almost $2,000 for the school. Way to go Spartans! Thank you to everyone who attended VIRTUS training on Saturday. Please turn in a copy of your certificate to the front office for our records. If you have not yet been certified, the last VIRTUS training for this school year will be on Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30pm. This session will be in English. Tweet from Pope Francis “The light of the Gospel guides all who put themselves at the service of the civilization of love.” Have a safe and happy weekend! God bless, Ms. McDugald
