Dear St. Sebastian Families,
The carnival was a huge success, many of our families worked the entire weekend. Thank you to everyone that worked their shifts and to those who went well over the required amount. This event and events like this help to support the ongoing operating expenses of the school. Please submit all receipts for reimbursement. Once the books are closed, I will share the final figures with our school community. There will be a thank you mass sometime in May. Ms. Weiss is planning a great Mother Son Night for our boys and their moms. Presale forms went home today. CEF application update: A letter will be going home with information on applying for a grant through CEF. Meetings will be scheduled for May 4th. If you have already submitted your application to the school, look for a letter, your application and a time to submit your application, to come home in your students backpack on Monday, April 27th. Directions to apply will be with your materials. Please note, all families looking to receive any reduction in tuition, are required to apply for CEF and process income information through FACTS. Tweet from Pope Francis “We need to care for the earth so that it may continue, as God willed, to be a source of life for the entire human family.” Volunteer Thank you! A huge thank you to all our families that helped out at the carnival. Thank you to the Carnival committee and all the families that headed a food booth, prize booth and the silent auction. There were families working from 7am until 9 or 10pm. This made for a wonderful carnival and a lot of fun! St. Sebastian Families are awesome! God bless and have a safe and happy weekend! Ms. McDugald

Dear St. Sebastian Families,
I want to thank the many families that have been preparing for the carnival. Countless hours are being put toward this fundraiser. The love and dedication of our families, is truly inspiring. I am reminded of Dr. Seuss’ book, “Horton Hears a Who,” when the Who’s shout out “we are here, we are here” St. Sebastian School is a little slice of heaven, and a huge slice of love! As one of our students said today at mass, “Jesus showed us how to care” and there is no more caring and welcoming community than the St. Sebastian Church School community. God bless all of the generous and gracious families that give their very heart and soul each day. Thank you for sharing this passion with me, and God bless you this Easter Season! |
