Ms. Janinne Villatoro (Transitional Kindergarten)
:I was born in LA, but I grew up in El Salvador. Over there I attended a Catholic school from Kindergarten to high school. I went to university where I graduated as an attorney. When I came back to LA more than 10 years ago, I discovered my true passion: BEING A TEACHER!
This will be my 7th year teaching and I feel deeply passionate about being an early childhood educator because it gives me the opportunity to support and encourage my students in this extremely important milestone of their lives. I believe that my mission is not just to teach letters, numbers, or colors but also to put my students’ emotional needs first, because without feeling safe and understood, not any instructional strategy will be effective. Currently, I’m taking classes at Loyola Marymount University. |
