Ms. Angelica Ceja (5th Grade)
Ms. Angelica Ceja started her love of teaching at a tender age and set her mind to become an educator. She began working with school age children through high school, college career and substitute teaching. She started teaching in 2014 in her hometown of Corcoran Ca. Where she taught Math and Science to wonderful sixth graders. Her four years included the head coach of the track and field team of the middle school. After four years, she decided to explore an opportunity in the big city! Los Angeles became my new home in 2018, where I had the opportunity to teach in a Catholic School. Her new position was to teach Science to 7th and 8th graders along with Intro to Spanish as an elective. I have had a passion for education all of my life and have been looking for an opportunity to integrate my love of Spanish and Faith to my teaching. St. Sebastian was that wonderful school that has become a new home away from home. I understand the importance of being global citizens through dual language immersion and the success and additional opportunities that arise because of it.The ability of connecting to another culture through language is a true blessing. I am committed to doing everything in my power to ensure that the students are successful and happy in learning. It is an honor to be part of this family and am looking forward to a wonderful school year. |
